Tierra del Fuego National Park
Tierra del Fuego was given its name because of the many bonfires that Ferdinand Magellan, the Portuguese explorer, witnessed on the shores of the region, lit by the local Ona Indians. The park consists of numerous islands and inlets shared by Argentina and Chile. The main island of Isla Grande is the largest in the territory. The National Park includes coastal forests and many scenic waterfalls, mountains, glaciers, and wildlife, and it’s Argentina’s only park that boasts an ocean shorelin.
This experience is exclusively for Antartica passengers who want enjoy their journey with the memorable Tierra del Fuego National Park. We will make a stop for lunch at Restaurant Alakush, inside the National Park (lunch not included). The restaurant serves delicious typical cuisine.
After lunch break (arround 14:30 - 15:00), we will start our way back to your final stop, where we will visit the End of the World train Station. After that, guests can be taken to their desired drop off point, which could be the city center or their hotel.
The National Park entrance (10) is located 12km from Ushuaia city center. You will visit interesting places inside the National Park, such as:
ENSENADA BAY (11) - In this stop we walk a short 20 minute trail. For those who do not want to walk, they will find the soutthernmost post office to get a stamp in their passport.
LAPATAIA BAY (13) - Here we will find the sign of the end of the world and from there we’ll take you to a short guided walk.
ACIGAMI LAKE (12) - This stunning lake is shared with Chile. From there we will walk to a nearby place for lunch.

9:30 AM - 10:00 AM - Tour pickup at the city center or hotel (depending on hotel location)
10:30 AM - 11:00 AM - 1ST STOP - ENSENADA BAY. In this stop there is a 20-minute trail. Here we can also find the southernmost post office, where one can get their passport stamped or even send postcards.
11:20 AM - 12:00 AM - 2ND STOP - LAPATAIA BAY. Here we will find the sign of the end of the world and then we will do a short-guided walk.
12:10 PM - 12:50 PM - 3RD STOP - ACIGAMI LAKE. This stunning lake is shared with Chile. From here we will walk to lunch.
01:00 PM - 01:50 PM - 4TH STOP - LUNCH TIME. Stop at Restaurant Alakush inside the National Park, that servers snacks, sandwiches and meals.
